The business started as one man’s vision. Gareth Palmer gained his knowledge and expertise within the London catering scene before moving into the world of motorsport, running 5* paddock hospitality with Ferrari, Benetton and Ducati, honing his skills in the restaurant kitchens of some of world’s most exciting cities.

Gareth wanted to bring what he had learnt back home and share his passion for great food and design and as a result Vanilla Bean was born. From it’s humble beginnings, catering intimate dinner parties for 6-10 guests, the business has grown and now has dedicated corporate, private and events styling divisions capable of managing multiple parties of fifteen hundred guests and beyond simultaneously. None of this would of been possible without a high calibre of staff, all of who have joined Vanilla Bean from Michelin star restaurants and international events companies.

Vanilla Bean focus on presentation, approaching each occasion from the corporate canape launch party to the black-tie dinner, not as a one-off catering event, but as the start of a long term relationship with each and every client.
