Emma McDonald created Something Blue Wedding Planning in 2014 with a passion for delivering exceptional service, personable, stylish and beautiful weddings and events in the UK and beyond. Something Blue is based in Horsham, Sussex but we travel nationally and globally. No event is too big or too small, we want to work with you to ensure whatever your ideas they are delivered with professionalism and by a team who really care.
We understand that planning your wedding or special event can be a stressful experience but by working with Something Blue as your wedding or event planner we aim to make the entire process enjoyable. Here at Something Blue, we are known for our personable approach and passion for what we do. You will be fully supported through the entire process including the wedding day itself by Emma and her team. Emma’s passion for excellence is stemmed from an early age, in every element of your day she will seek perfection for you.
If you are considering a marquee at home then this can be added pressure and having someone on hand that has been through this process before to offer advice can be invaluable. We will be on site to meet with you in the initial design stages with the marquee provider and on going including the week of the build, so you are never alone in this process. After all, this is your land and you want it to look perfect, as do we.
We are an independent wedding planner that is part of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners (UKAWP), which provides the reassurance you can trust us and that our work has been approved, our insurances are up to date and we are respected within the wedding industry.

- For all packages, we write and ensure suppliers stick to the schedule and if things aren’t running to time we adapt and update everyone involved so that you and your guests would never be aware.
